The project installed solar air-conditioning for 22 classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with an average of two air conditioners, and each air conditioner is equipped with 4pcs 300W solar panels. The school uses air conditioning every day from 8:30 in the morning to 3:40 in the afternoon. Due to the abundant sunshine resources throughout the year and the air conditioning is only used during the day, compared with conventional air conditioning, the power-saving ratio of solar air conditioning is greater than 95%. Based on local electricity prices, the investment payback period is about 28 months.
